I'm still slogging through the rotation, and for the most part it is still going well.  The only thing is that I've had a couple of things happen over the last two days that worry me slightly.  I can probably dismiss them as just one of those things, and two of them I've had happen before, but I'm still worried.

...of secuROM.  Yay!  I finally took the plunge and removed the blasted programme, and I can't tell you how good it feels.  I downloaded the removal tool from a link at Simmers Against SecuROM because I really don't feel comfortable editing the registry myself, and it appears to have worked: there is no trace of SuckuROM on my pc any more.
